It's crazy to think that it's already been six months since Scout was born. She's been such a great baby. She never fusses or cries unless we deprive her of life's essentials (food & sleep). She's already been to Boston, New Orleans, and San Diego and does really well on airplanes, which is good seeing as how we hope they will hopefully be a big part of her life. We love having her around and are so happy to be her parents. She's to the point now where her little personality is starting to come out. She loves to smile and giggle and she definately has a lot to say. Here are some pictures to give you a peek at what we enjoy everyday. We love you Scouter!

BCS Busting in The Big Easy!
We've got some really great friends! Actually, "really great" would be an understatement. As I'm sure all of you are aware, the University of Utah Utes football team just finished their perfect season with a big win in the Sugar Bowl. We were lucky enough to be there because our friends Mark and Marilyn Stevens and their family were going down and were generous enough to ask us if we would like to come along. We spent an amazing week in New Orleans. We took a Swamp Boat Tour and saw some gators, had dinner on a River Boat, listened to some Jazz music, visited the Aquarium, saw New Year's fireworks shot from a barge on the Mississippi River, hung out in the French Quarter (with a quick visit to Burbon St.), rode the Street Car (don't call them Trolley's), ate some French Bignets, walked along in the Garden District of New Orleans and saw some pretty amazing plantation style homes, ate some amazing cajun food, and that was all aside from watching Utah whip Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. It was an amazing trip, one that we never would have been able to do on our own and we can't thank the Steven's enough for their generosity and allowing us to tag along.
Merry Christmas!!

Christmas was a bit different here for us this year. We stayed home and celebrated by ourselves and had a blast doing it. We had a lot of fun with just our little family going to movies, hanging out around the house, and building snowmen. We even spent our Christmas Day dinner in a Chinese Buffet,(for some reason they are the only places open on Christmas). Anyway, we had a great Christmas with plenty of snow and hope that everyone else had a nice one too.
