I Love San Diego

It has been a fun first week for us in San Diego. It has taken a while for us to move our stuff in and get adjusted, but we've been able to spend a few days around the city.

Each Tuesday there are free museums at Balboa park. The museum we went to was terrible, but the park itself is beautiful. Scout was just getting over having a high fever for three days, so she is a bit out of it in all the pictures.
While she was soaking up the sun, we met a family from Utah. We ended up talking for a while, and found out the father is the San Diego temple president. Not too shabby company.
This is Scout. . . refusing to look at the camera. What a stinker.

Sometimes a girl just needs some alone time to think.
After Ammon's first day of school, I took him down to Ocean Beach for the rest of the day to celebrate. We went and had hamburgers and milkshakes at Hodads. Yummm, can't beat that.

Look at the size of that milkshake. Scout was one happy girl. . . watching her devour that shake leaves no doubt that she's my daughter. Atta girl!
