Happy Halloween!!

I know I'm a bit late getting this posted but as I mentioned in my previous post and as you'll see in the next few postings, we have been out of town for that past little bit. We still had our annual Halloween party this year. It was a bit early because of our Boston trip but it was a lot of fun regardless. In all honesty I wasn't really up for the Halloween party this year, I couldn't get excited celebrating Halloween on October 18th, but Cass didn't care what I thought and insisted that we were having the party anyway and I have to admit now that I'm glad we did. Our friends the Woodhouses and Wilsons, along with Christa and Fabio and Brittany came and were all in their costumes and Cass cooked up her usual nasty food(Nasty as in, good tasting but pretty nasty looking). For example; bloddy tendons with eyeballs (lasagna with meatballs), Mummy Fetuses (mini hotdogs in bread), Witch's Fingers (green breadsticks), a Frankenstien cake and eyeball cupcakes. Everyone was great and dressed up in their costumes and we had a lot of fun.

The Sagebins showed up as the Prize Patrol from Publisher's Clearing House

Little Morgan came as a Turtle and Lilly was a Bunny and Morgan and Kerri were their food, Lettuce and a Carrot

Kevin and Rhiannon as a Soccer Ref and Scottie Pippen

Brittany as our new President-Elect Barack Obama

Our 101 Dalmations Family: Cruella DeVil, The Dog Catcher, and a Little Dalmation

Update Time
It's been a while since I last posted, not because there hasn't been anything going on, but because there has actually been so much going on and I haven't gotten around to it. October has been a busy month for us. It usually is with Halloween and holidays in general are usually always a pretty big deal in our family. We had our annual Halloween dinner this year with the usual crazy food and we had a lot of fun with some good friends. We had it a bit early this year because we took our big trip to Boston at the end of the month to spend time with Cassidy's sister Brittany and her family. It was my first time to Boston and it was amazing! We had a blast hanging out with Brittany and Jared and their family and they were so nice to play tour guide and take us around all over New England and show us the sites. I'll cover both the Halloween party and our Boston trip in my next few posts, but I just wanted to post an update as far as everything else that's been happening with us.
Following up on my last post, we were very excited to see that Proposition 8 passed in California. It sounds like it created quite a firestorm down in California which doesn't look like will die down anytime soon and it also made big news here in Utah because of the Church's and other members like Steve Young's involvement. We were watching and waiting for results in Boston trying to get an idea of what was going on through Cassidy's family and were so happy to see it pass. I don't know if any of you saw the commercial that was running in California on election day by the campaign opposing Proposition 8 that showed what were supposed to be two LDS Missionaries going into a Lesbian couples home and taking their wedding rings and tearing up their Marriage License with the punch line at the end; "What will the Mormon's steal next?" but it was completely rediculous.
We also had some very bad news when we heard that my very close friend Brian Fink passed away this month. We were shocked to hear it and it was such a surprise to everyone. His wife Caytlin and their two boys Mason and Kenny have been amazingly strong and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with them.
