No Baby Yet!!

So yesterday Cass had her cerclage removed and everything went well. Cassidy said it was pretty painful, but she didn't show it at all and took it like a champ. We have been so worried with this Incompetent Cervix thinking that the cerclage was the only thing keeping the baby in and we were completley prepared for little Scout to just fall out as soon as the stitches were removed. So we packed Cassidy's bag and put the car seat in the trunk and went to the hospital ready to have a baby. After the cerclage was removed the Doctor has Cassidy take a non-stress test to see what the baby was going to do and if she would go into labor, but after an hour without a single contraction they told us to go home and come back tomorrow. So we'll head back to the Doctor tomorrow and see what's going on.

We were pretty bummed after being so excited and thinking today would be the day, but we will just have to be patient. It almost seems as if she is overdue and we have to keep remembering that she is only at 37 weeks. We've been trying to get out and get Cass walking around and moving to see if we can start some contractions. Everytime we have the option for stairs or an elevator we take the stairs, Cassidy takes them two at a time jumping and bouncing around, She even threw in a few jumping jacks. We figure if we make it a bumpy ride for Scout then she will want to come out. We know that she will come when she is ready, we're just really excited and anxious.
